Meet the Staff

 

 Pastor Dwayne and Jan Campbell

 Senior Pastor - Pastor Dwayne and Jan Campbell have been the pastors of First Assembly since May 22, 1977. Both Dwayne and Jan were born and raised in Maine. After graduating from Bible College, they moved to Alaska where they pastored for 6 years. Returning to the lower 48 states, they pastored for 4 years in Indiana, PA before coming to York.

The Campbells have thoroughly enjoyed pastoring in York for more than two decades. They have led the church through two building programs due to increased need. The first, in 1991, added several new classrooms and office space. Most recently was the opening of the spacious Family Life Center in the Spring of 2000. In addition to pastoring First Assembly, Reverend Campbell has also served as a Presbyter for the Pennsylvania/Delaware District of the Assemblies of God (1997-98) and has sat on the sectional committee for the South Central East section of the district for many years. He is also a member of the York County Evangelical Ministers Association and has served as its vice-president

 


Pastor Paul and Jill Boisvert

Worship and Fine Arts/Associate Pastor - Pastor Paul Boisvert has been the Minister of Worship and Fine Arts at First Assembly since January of 1999. Originally from New Hampshire, Pastor Paul studied Music at The Boston Conservatory.  He completed his ministerial training through Berean School of the Bible, earning his ministerial creden-tials in 1994.  He recently completed a Master of Arts degree in Practical Theology from Regent University with dual concentrates in Worship and Renewal and in Leadership Coaching.  Prior to ministering at First Assembly, he served the Lord for twelve years at Christian Bible Church and Christian Bible Church Academy in several music leadership positions including minister of music. During this time, he and his wife, Jill, were also part of an evangelistic singing group called Bought With A Price which ministered in New England area churches

 


Pastor Danny and Lisa Haas

Associate Pastor/Outreach - Pastor Danny Haas and his wife Lisa became youth pastors at First Assembly in December of 2000. In September of 2006 Danny switched portfolio to become the staff evangelist.  He and his wife are both originally from Queens, New York where they were born and raised.  Pastor Danny attended Zion Bible Institute. For two years he traveled with the singing Ensemble. He was given the opportunity to minister in song and in the word, during which he saw many lives impacted by the power of God. In 1996 Pastor Danny graduated college with a ministerial diploma and a teaching certificate from ZBI located in Barrington, Rhode Island.

 


Pastor Al and Marisa Di Salvatore

Youth Pastor/Associate Pastor – Al Di Salvatore and his wife Marisa became youth pastors here at First Assembly of God in the fall of 2006.  Al grew up in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Valley Forge Christian College in 2003 with a degree in Pastoral Ministries. His vision is to allow an atmosphere for the Holy Spirit to move in our students and change their lives from the inside out.  Aside from being youth pastor, he also serves as the Catalyst Life Group Director at First Assembly.  Some of Al and Marisa's loves are family, music, sports, sushi, Starbucks and their cat Philly.

 


Director of Christian Education - Tyson Severin is a graduate of Messiah College.  She first joined the staff of First Assembly as children's director January 2001 and subsequently as Director of Christian Education in 2005, She has been involved in Children's Ministry since 1996. Tyson's goal is that all those who call First Assembly home may grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.  "My priority and responsibility is to model Christ by my example."
